I was pulling a size 12 olive hares ear at a snails pace, and every now and then I'd raise the tip and let it fall, during one of these rhythms, a catfish mouth found it's way around the fly. Quite the tugger. As far as I know, with the catfish, I've caught all fishing species in the lake.
Just the thoughts of an old man standing in the river waving a stick. Sometimes it's raining fish and other times it's just raining while I fish.

me thinks the fishing is back
a couple of tuggers from a morning session. This evening brought some nice action, but the biggest missed the hook.. B-). I'll be heading out early tomorrow morning to take advantage of this cooler clime.
